Teron's of the World

The Saskatchewan/Alberta/BC Family

Another family of Teron's started in Saskatchewan, Canada, though most members today live in Alberta and British Columbia.

Our knowledge of this family starts with Domitry and Annie Tyron in Bridok, Bukovina. Three of their sons emigrated to Preeceville, Saskatchewan in 1901.

• 1. John Tyron (1875-1948) and his wife Mary (1882-1945).
• 2. Fred Tyron (?-1953) and his wife Wasylena (1895-1973)
• 3. Mike Tyron (single, died 1947 in Port Arthur/Fort William, Ontario area)

1. John Tyron had four children - Mary (1909-1992, who married Anton Parasky (1895-1972) and had 7 children), Metro (single, 1911-1980), George (married Evelyn, no children, living in Langley, BC), and Mike (living in Red Deer, Alberta).

Mike and his wife Esther (1924-1990) have five children:

• Gerald (Jerry) and Judy (1953-2004), living in Airdrie, Alberta. Jerry has three children - Marcel (married to Misty with daughter Ashley, living in Lincoln City, Oregon), Kristinna (living with Marcel and Misty), and Melinda (living in Swift Current, Sasaktchewan).
• Geraldine Burton and husband Denis Sanregret live in Airdrie, Alberta and her two children, Shandi and Cole, live in Calgary, Alberta
• Daryl and Tracy, with children Courtney, Chase and Jessie, living in Red Deer, Alberta
• Ed and Denise, with children Sasha and Devon, living in Okatoks, Alberta
• Cynthia and Brian, living in Red Deer, Alberta

2. Fred and Wasylena had three children - John and Mary who were both single and have passed away, and a son, William. He has also passed away though his wife, Doreen, is still living in Grand Forks, BC. They have five children:

• Bob and Wanda, with children Michael, Donald and Steven, living in Elkford, BC
• Allan, living in Vancouver, BC
• Darlene and Gary Lazarof, with child Corey, living in Grand Forks, BC
• Billy and Candace, with children Cody and Kyle, living in Sturgis, SK
• Cathy and Curtis Petryshyn, with a child Jordan, living in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
